Little Yellow Dress

I seem to be constantly plagued with images in my mind, and this one was no exception.
I was having a particularly tough night, and while laying in bed, crying to God for some peace, I saw this image in my head.
I felt like I was on the verge of being consumed by something large and malevolent.
But now, I'd like to think of it as coming out of the darkness.
I guess it is all a matter of perspective.

Wet Look

A painting I was asked to do for a friend who wanted to help me out.
I was glad to oblige.
They gave me some ideas of art that they liked, and I let my imagination go wild.
I had a lot of fun with this, because it was something I'd never done before. I just had fun.

I am open to doing more like this, that being the "Having Fun" part.

Glory To Glory

I painted this for a friend, who had a death in their family.
The Black flower represents our old life, in this world, beautiful but yet lacking.
The Gold flower represents heaven, a life and a Glory so much more beautiful than this one.
The vines represent our worldly life trying to hold us back, while the Golden flower reaches out, lovingly, taking us in as a Father would take us into His arms.
